I am so sad  this piece of property has finally been sold and the people are going to be building their house right where these trees are...going to have to get many more images in the next few months before they start... want to do a night shot with the stars behind, for sure!

Oh! That is sad... It's going to be hard watching it happen... Gee, I do most certainly commiserate. I'll be getting new neighbours soon too, and don't know what will happen in terms of what sort of people they are (noisy is worst), but also because the property harbours a lot of wildlife as it's been left in a fairly decrepit state garden-wise, so do hope they don't begin cutting down the wrong trees etc. Would be tragic.

Luckily the plot is about 10 acres (don't know the conversion for you) and has never had any development done on it, but with only one house being built and the other properties around it being about the same size, there will still be room for wildlife.  They say they're not going to be developing all of the area in order to let the natural trails stay open...we'll have to see...
