I noticed you wanted critique, so... xDD
First off, I just have to say you have a really unique style. It's fresh and different. A pleasent change to all those Disney-Channel-Wannabes out there. I like it.
Now, on to the picture.
You did really well here. You pulled the pose off great, and I love what you did for coloring. I also like how you outline your pictures. I'm used to seeing ultrathick-blocky-ugly black lines that look like a unibrow crawled up and took over the outline. However, the front legs look far too thin to support the rest of the body. I'd suggest shoving Rakir into Mickey D's for awhile and fatten 'em up down there. 'Cause right now, if he was running like that in real life, they'd snap in half and he'd be left sitting there in pain at his broken twigs. ): We don't want that, do we? Another thing is the muzzle. It doesn't really look like he has one, if you think about it. :/ The way you drew the grin, it looks like he would have no mouth on the other side of his face. Just think about it in your head for a second, if, again, that picture was in real life and someone came looking from the other side. No mouth!? It's on the other side of his head! I can see you added a shadow in there which helps abit, but even then the lower jaw is far too thin and makes the muzzle look more triangular. The way you shadowed and colored helps alot though, and it's hardly noticeable, but if you're ever gonna do a side-shot keep that in mind.
Ears. I like the pose you put them in, but the one on the left (His left, not ours) looks much fatter than the one on the right. This is probably because with the one on the left, you can see the inside of the ear, but try your best to make them as equal in size as you can.
I know I shouldn't be talking because I couldn't do a pose like this to save my life (Atleast until I get over my side-shot-only phase and actually update my dA), but I just thought these things should be pointed out. Great art, keep up the good work.

Anyway, thaaaank you. <33333 Since this is a reasonably not-too-recent pic (to me), I guess I've improved a bit since I drew this (to me again). Now that I'm looking over at it and reading your comment at the same time, yeah, I can see all the mistakes in it that you pointed out that I otherwise wouldn't be aware of. I'll try working on all of them, but I think I'll be having a hard time with thicker legs. D:
