Um... does anyone else wish Black History wasn't regulated to one month? Especially the shortest month? And why isn't it included as part of the rest of history? I understand that it's supposed to get special recognition during February, but shouldn't it also be mentioned throughout the year?

I totally agree with this. Speaking for the US, African-American history is part of American history. But I get it, back in the day it was more overlooked, which is why BHM was created. And apparently it was birthed from Negro History Week which was before BHM. When it will just be absorbed into American history, who knows.
