For this shoot I hand carved Stone pieces out of insulating foam, Its light and easy to use. I attached them to the body by painting Liquid latex onto the foam and the models body. Once the latex dries, place the two areas together and the latex holds everything perfectly. Even with a lot of movement and occasional knocking the latex held the foam in place for the entire shoot.Photographer: purpleport.com/portfolio/bangt…

How long of a process does it take to set up shoots like this?

This took months. Trying to get models and photographers together is a nightmare :-P
The foam took me a couple of days to carve and a couple more to paint. We only had 2 hours to paint but the studio gave me a little extra time. Altogether its crazy stressful until you get to paint. But its a good couple of weeks work for only a couple of hours payoff.
But saying that, I'd still do it again. Give it a go
