Sadly, when I look at this, it reminds me of the pain and disappointment, that my sister, and niece, have β BOTH β Inflicted upon what's left, of my family β now that BOTH PARENTS are DECEASED!

How did you get the backlight effect on her hair? I've never been able to make it work in DS. I try in PhotoShop but it never looks that good.

The whole idea of the render was to test a new hair shader I had made that would behave normally under all lighting conditions. It worked out pretty well until DS upgraded and messed it up. Not sure of why but it did. I can open up the scene and render it fine but saving the mat preset in the updated DS hasn't worked.

Yeah, The hair shader works like how I would expect real brunette hair to react to light. I never name any of my characters as they continue to change with every render. Granted not all that much.
