Description This is the most amazing tree I've ever seen in my life. It's so tall, just a single photo wouldn't do it justice. Well, this doesn't either -- it's too magnificent. But I think this looks pretty cool.

Basically, all I did was take several photographs of the tree, starting from the bottom and carefully making my way up (I didn't use a tripod for this, so it was very hard). Then I just downloaded them onto the computer and blended them together with GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Programme), so it looks as if you're bending your head back to look up at it.

I think this tree is called a Redwood, although I'm not entirely sure. It's so tall, it must be well over 150 foot tall, and if you touch the bark, you'd be surprised to see that it's spongy, which you wouldn't think to look at, especially close up -- it looks really rough and hard. This tree is behind the church where I live (hence the graves) and it's beautiful; you can see it well over the church tower from the other side. I had to stand quite a way back to take this photo, simply because it's so huge. Standing in front of it made me feel incredibly small.

Anyway, if you've reached this part of my comment, congratulations ... you've just read a few very long paragraphs of my ramblings ...

So, I hope you like this, and please let me know what you think!

Aw, thank you! I'm glad that it's not noticeable. I'm actually working on another piece similar to this right now.

I read everything you wrote and yes it's a redwood I have on in my backyard and if I was two block down from my home can finally see the top of it, there tree are huge. Every year I'm scaried of that tree tipping over when we have those high winds come through during the winter. OH yeah it sure does not look blended together looks great.

Wow, you have one in your backyard? Lucky, much! I wish our back yard was big enough for such a tree. But I don't think anything could blow that tree down. Haha.
I'm glad that it doesn't look blended.
And thanks for reading all of that!

yeah that thing is a monster, I'm more worry about the top half snapping in half and falling down on the the homes. But I guess I don't have to worry about for soo long because we are going to sell the house and mover back to LA.

Oh your welcome
