My submission for the #DeviousDesktopsSpaceOut challenge. And boy, did I have fun! I love space. I view space as the epicenter of creation. We are always told we are made from stardust. We may seem tiny and insignificant in this endless universe, yet, we are made from it. What's more, we a creators within it.

Artists, authors, inventors, mathematicians, song writers, dancers, scientists, anyone who creates and moves the world forward uses the stardust from the universe to create. We, us creators, are architects of worlds. Whether it be in our mind or out on display for the world to see, we are shifting, pulling, breaking and fiddling with stardust. In our heads the universe truly never ends. Are imagination and creativity goes as far as we let it go. We discover constellations, planets, nebulas, quasars, black holes, and cradle it into something immaculate and with flairs of our own distinction. Out there in space is us. Each of us has our own cat's cradle of the universe. We forget that our luster is just as luminous as the breathtaking night sky.

We are stardust. We are the universe. We are architects of worlds. In space, we are there.

Notes about the piece:
The amount of time it took me to figure out how I wanted the hands was... a lot of time. I figured out that the best option with what I had envisioned would to make them out of similar material as the planet. But I also wanted them dark and not too noticeable as sometimes we don't see the hands behind the creations that we see.

This is all done digitally from scratch. No images, besides references for the hands were used. In fact, since I did it on procreate, I only had 8 layer allowance. That was a whole new challenge in of itself.

While I understand this isn't something scientifically possible, I believe making it plausible would have defeated the purpose of the piece.

The signature is placed in such a way in order to remove it if needed.

Figured out the cause of lack of zoom in, the file was corrupted, deleted and re-submitted.
