Description
I used the stocks only from the asset pack, and then distorted and painted over it. Everything else were digitally painted.This picture tells the story of a panda who bored with the routine of the show. He always hoping to run away. Someday, he saw a pie seller who wear a panda costume, and suddenly a plan to run away pop in his head! The panda strongly believes if he disguise as a pie seller and hijack the van, he can deceive the guard and sneak off easily.

I'm really curious about how you did this piece.
Did you use any 3d rendering software? The angles look great and the lines really natural also the lights, colors, textures, etc...

May I ask how long this took you? rough estimate is fine, just need to know for my personal reasons. seems like I can never make it look like this when I take so much time so I was wondering how much time you spent on it, and if you went to school and what for? idk I want to do this stuff but it seems like i'm having alot of time, Thanks! and GL

about a week. on workdays, i took a few hours per day. but on weekend, i took dozens of hours to finish it.

Yes I meant your formal education if any. what did you go to school for,and what school if I may ask? I wanted so badly to go to school for character design and photoshop designing and such and want to know the best schools. Thanks!

well.. maybe my skill has nothing to do with my formal education, because i was graduated from local college that offered a major in graphic design. i think formal education is not a dead end, because i saw many others who produce outstanding artwork of their own learning through tutorials on the internet

maybe you can save tutorials on DA as much as you like, and learn from that when you have time

Great concept ! Did you really paint it digitally? It almost looks like you've made 3d models, so realistic does the paint appear!
