Nala was on a routine patrol on the priderock, makes 3 years since Kion went to live on the Tree of Life and become king with his now wife Queen Rani, she misses him so much .... and he doesn't even know his older brother (Kopa) has returned, he and his sister never had a chance to meet him .... and now ... she just wanted to see her son again:

Nala: Awn Kion .... I wish you were here.....

Kion: Well.....I think your wish has come true mom....hahaha...

Nala couldn't believe what she saw in front of her ... her son ... in flesh and bones...looking at her with that boyish smile that she always recognized ..... the kings of the past can only be playing tricks on her ..... that couldn't be .....

Nala: Kion?.....KION!!!!

Kion: HAHAHA ... hey .... I thought you didn't recognize your dear son ....how sad.... (smiling)...

Nala: OMG!....MY BABY CUB!.....

She had tears in her eyes ..... smile from ear to ear .... Kiara and Simba will be so happy to see him again .....

Kion: I'm just visiting mom ..... I'll stay here for a few weeks and then go back to my kingdom to help protect the Tree of Life ....

Nala: I'ts ok son.....come....let's see your sister, father and your brother!....they will be so happy to see you!...

Kion: Brother?.....

Nala: Ah....long history....I can explain along the way to priderock .... come .....

So ... Nala was talking to Kion on the way to the priderock about his older brother and about such a painful past that she had never told him until now, Kion was happy to know that he has a brother .... and Nala knew they would get along very well ..... she was only sure of one thing ..... this is one of the best days of her life .......
