Biography: William Russell was once a kickboxer when he traveled to Japan to train Shoot Boxing and began training in Mexico for Lucha Libre, he wrestled as a masked wrestler named Phoenix Kid and became friends with Erik Barna, the Hungarian Bruiser, they got along and they had a rivalry once for the GLL Undisputed title. Until in 2013, Phoenix Kid got signed to CWA and took off his mask but kept his ring name his best friend broke up their friendship and started a heated rivalry.
