Updated I felt like rescanning this incredibly old drawing. this enormous insect monster's head was inspired by concept art of Andrew Jones, of Flagghra. from Metroid Prime. aka the Plant bossto this day I still enjoy looking at this drawing. The style in which I drew the Exoskeleton is fantastic.

I've tried to draw things like this, but they never come out looking right at all... I just can't get that creepy-demonic-alien-bug-like-freak-of-nature look that you seem to get naturally!

Anway, I know lots about insects. Put little circles on the abdomen (if it uses the same breathing system as insects) for spiracles. Yeah...

Thats really flippin' detailed, the mouth is awesome, its hard for me to tell where its eye is, but I really can't find a downside to this thing, I like how the legs look like there made specifically for skewering people. Maybe this should of been put under fantasy though?

it's the queen insect and it's pregnet. the two round spheres on the back of it's head are it's young and it will grow larger as it's Babies grow.
Oh yeah it actully has 12 eyes.

So all the dots on the upper jaw are its eyes? Because they do count out as 6.
