I have dyslexia so I apologise if this hard to read.
I used Photoshop.
First I drew Toothless with the paint brush tool in red. I then opened up a second layer and coloured him in with different tones of black for his main colour, lighting, shading and texture. I added a bit of black lining on his legs, wing, fin, ear, antennas, nose and mouth. I then did his green eyes. The tools I used to make this art piece were the brush tool and the colour replacement tool.
