About the drawingThe awesome Lee Pace as The Hobbit's king of the Woodland Realm, Thranduil. I really like Lee as Ned the cutie patootie/piemaker from Pushing Daisies and I admire the majestic battle skills of Thranduil, so I made a decision to forget that I dislike drawing fair hair and portrayed this pretty forest fairy
This is quite a detailed drawing, yet it took not so much time - the whole process and in general - as I expected. I spent only 38h in two weeks' time! That's so unlike me - last time I drew a pencil portrait , it took me 80h on a span of 9 months, lol. The outline, Thranduil's face and armlet took the majority of time. The sleeve, hair and background was much less time-consuming
I'm very pleased that this drawing was done so fast and turned out nicely

No, because I am a traditional artist, not a digital one and enhancing drawings in a graphic programme is a cheating.
