And the adult male is completely my own design.

I named the adult lioness Teshi and made her Malka's aunt. She's Themba's younger sister. The adult male is her mate Kendi, a grandnephew of the late Queen Uru of the Pride Lands. The cubs are their son Akia and daughter Abebi. Both cubs leave the pride as teenagers, to "travel the world" with their cousin Malka. Akia returns to the Mountain Lands when Malka becomes the king, but Abebi joins another pride and starts a new life in their land.
