I have been wanting to do this for ages, but I was never satisfied with the results of my attempts to blend human/lion features until yesterday.Rumple has always reminded me of a lion, with that lovely mane of his, so I didn't do this just because I think he might somehow fill a "Cowardly Lion" role in this new Oz arc.

Well well. The "coward" title would definitely cause some to make that connection. Considering his magic powers however, he might be the Wizard himself. It would fit especially since he might have lost his powers after killing Pan.

Yeah... I had this idea that he could be both the CL and the WoO. Maybe he lost his powers and is suddenly trying to figure out how to live without them. It would make sense for him to try to use his reputation to bluff his way into making everyone think he still has his powers. But then again, I kind of like the thought of him getting an accolade...

He is a lion, this works perfectly even his persona is an oxymoron like the Cowardy Lion but like that little goofball, Rumpel will have the courage to face his fears when saving his loved ones.

I have an idea to do other characters... but I'm not sure if I'm clever enough to come up with animal 'sonas for all of them...
I HAVE decided that Belle is a white lioness, though. It says they are rare... plus, they have blue eyes.

ooh, very nice! That's an interesting theory, that he'd be the Cowardly Lion. I was thinking that he'd be the wizard, and he got stuck in Oz somehow and made all these deals with the characters in Wizard of Oz in order to get back. But, I guess we'll see.
