oh really I thought that's how all artists painted including myself. didn't know it was a style. you taking some sort of classes?

Artist's paint in very different kinds of ways. Anselm Kiefer uses elephant dung and lead, a lot of dada painting doesn't even have contours to follow and Art Brut just does whatever it wants. There is no one right way to do it.
I took classes. Most of them were metalsmithing.Β
