A quick doodle of the Bandit lad <3

Every time I think I'm about to make heavy progress on owed art and story pieces, work bodyslams me, or I get sick. This past week has been especially rough, we all got sick and my mom has been in ICU since Friday (influensa/pneumonia). She is stable and should get better eventually, it's just going a lot slower than we or the doctors like. She won't be home for Christmas, I imagine it'll be several weeks at this point before she gets to come home. This has taken up most of my mental energy so other things are mostly sidelined for the time being (I have people to talk to, don't worry, and I'm disabling comments because I know I have many friends who care and I am so grateful for that, and I wanted to provide an update for those people but I also kinda don't have the energy to get into additional separate conversations about this, if that makes sense). I was feeling unfocused during a skype meeting at work, so I doodled on a post-it note to keep my hands busy, and a lil Bandit appeared. I liked him a lot, so I took him home and colored him. Detail is a bit fuzzy since, again, post-it note size, but it was really nice to play with pencils again on something small and low-ambition.
