Description
Another quick colouring job (for my standards anyway). His colours are based on the unreleased G2 Sandstorm toy. The robot modes pose is based on 's Victory Seekers. Although robot's design is based on the design I've used on my other Seekers. His alt mode is based on a Dassault Rafale fighter jet. I know his profile's a bit bland, but I think there's too many chiefs and not enough minions.Line art for robot mode [link]

You could call him another name.Β Some that come to mind (that are not already taken) is 'Sandblast' or 'Sandpunk'.Β I have no hold over either of these.Β Maybe you could try to fast track a copyright on both before HASBRO gets a hold of them.Β LOL.

Nice work for a very obscure canon Seeker. Β In my head canon I call him Dunewing so not to confuse him with G1 Sandstorm. Β I also envision his personality as being kind of extreme. Β He becomes extremely aggressive towards any Decepticon he views as disloyal, occassionally even becoming violent when he gets the oppurtunity. Β Oblivious to the fact that he ends up sowing more dissent than he ends by doing so, he'll even criticize his officers for keeping them around. Β Which makes himself ironically disloyal. Β Needless to say, Starscream hates him and the feeling is mutual. The DJD's biggest (and only) fan within the Decepticon grunt force. Β

Cool! The personality you've given to your characterization of Dunewing is much more interesting and better thought out than the one I've done for Sandstorm.Β I was tempted to give him an original name too, but then it would be like creating an all new original Seeker (who just happens to share same colour scheme), rather than developing personality for an already existing, rare/obscure character.

I think you did a decent job on his characterization, but the "abilities" section is obviously taken from Thrust's. I'd like to see something specifically related to his being adapted to fight in desert environments (which is obvious by his name and motto).

Thanks.Β I think I put more effort on the art side for this guy and was a bit less creative on the write up side.Β And yes I probably did borrow some of Thrust's profile for his abilities.Β I do that sometimes for the more filler type characters.Β

Excellent work Navtej, I like the drawing, design, colour, and bio. Even though the name exist already, I like your take on it with a Decepticon because the colours reflect the name well and the alt mode design is really cool and G1 styled. Great effort!
