You began running, but you weren't able to catch up with Allan, since he was running so quickly.

"Hey Al! Slow down!"

"Not my problem! Speed up anyway!"

You tried to increase your speed for at least a bit, you managed to get closer to him, making it easy to trip him up, and that's what you did. Allan fell face first in the soft sand.

"What the FU-"

Now you were the one in first place. You turned around and saw the american scrambling on his feet. You began to run way faster than you normally would, you spotted (fav name) in the water already, you quickly took off your shoes and ran barefoot in the cold water. You quickly caught (fav name) in your arms and fell in the water, not bothering to take off your clothes. You were soaked and couldn't help but smile and shake slightly. You saw Allan catch up and stop where the dry sand turns wet.

"Get the fuck out of the water! You'll catch a cold or something!"

"Don't worry! I'm used to it!"

It's true, you were raised in a country that was located in the northern part of the world, meaning that the climate was mostly cold and the warm weather was something that occurred lesser than the cold.

"I'm not worrying! I just don't want to treat anyone who has a cold, especially when I'm on holiday."

(Fav name) began to squirm and apparently jumped out of your arms, pushing you back into the water.

“Come swimming with me, a little water won't hurt now, will it?”

“I won't go swimming!”

“Then why did we come here in the first place?”

“Oliver and Roxana forced me into this.”

“Well that's too bad, I guess you didn't really want to spend time with a great friend-”

'I do it's just-”

You turned to face Allan.

“Yeah, go on.”

He huffed and looked at the distance

“Never mind, let's go already.”

You saw Allan remove his jacket and T-shirt, exposing his torso, you blushed a little and continued to play with your puppy.

“Hey ____!”

“Yeah?”

“Are you still gonna stay in your clothes?”

You realised that you were still in that T-shirt and shorts, you washed off the sand and took them off, now you were only in your (fav colour) swimsuit. You played with Allan at the beach for longer than expected and apparently until more than 7pm, that's when your phone began to ring. You picked it up.

“Hey ____, it's Roxana, you haven't been hurt yet, have you?”

“Er, no, anyway, what were you calling me for?”

“Oh nothing, just to check on you. I don't want to find you killed or missing after I get back.”

“Hey, Al isn't that bad you know, he wouldn't kill an old childhood friend like me.”

“I wasn't talking about him.”

“Huh? Then who?”

“Watch out for L-”

There was an awkward silence for about a moment.

“Roxana? You there?”

“Yeah, sorry about that, anyway, I have to get going, the pastries are going to overcook, La Revedere.”

Roxana hung up. You took a look at the time, 7:18 already.

“ OK Allan, I think we need to get going, it's more than quarter past seven already.”

You turned around to see him come out of the water and grab a towel. You took out an extra one and dried your (h/l) hair and other body parts. You picked up your clothes and stashed them in your bag, Al did the same and started to head back to the house, you picked up (fav name) and carried the puppy back. Once you reached the house and unlocked the door, you set (fav name) down and began to unpack your bag, you took out the soaked fabrics and went upstairs to dry them. You hung them above the radiator, once you finished, you put on an extra pair of shorts, a t-shirt and a hoodie. You heard a glass break.

“Stay there Al, I'll go check it out.”

You went downstairs and looked around, you noticed a broken window in the back door, you approached it and walked out, finding a fist-sized rock that was wrapped with ordinary paper. You picked it up and read what was on it, apparently it seemed to be written in blood.
