“Everybody, I'm home!”

That was Ivan for sure, you can tell by his tone of voice and the accent, you can also tell by the three other people that were there to greet him, the Baltics states. You didn't have to worry about being seen, you were invisible already, it's not like anyone would notice you right now. You watched as Raivis was scared at his master, Eduard making up another excuse to get out of another situation and Toris telling Raivis to keep quiet. While that was going on, you crept upstairs and began to knock things off their shelves, throwing photos at the wall, you went through a few drawers and took a permanent marker, you took the lid off and drew a moustache on Ivan's Portrait. You quickly threw the permanent marker down the stairs and darted to the nearest room. The Baltics ran upstairs and looked so clueless, they began to clean up the mess you made, in the meanwhile, you crept back downstairs and went to greet Ivan.

“Hey Ivan!”

“Oh, hello ____, where did you come from?”

“I went to get some shelter from the bad weather, you don't mind me staying for a bit, do you?”

“Not at all. Please, make yourself at home.”

“Thanks Ivan!”

You stood on your toe tips to give him a warm, friendly hug. After a few hours with Ivan, you haven't realised the time, which was nearly midnight. All the people in the house were beginning to go to bed. Ivan was already in bed, you opened the door a little, he was still awake, good thing you didn't disturb his sleep.

“Ivan, is it OK if I sleep with you tonight?”

“Sure you can, come in.”

You walked in and quietly closed the door behind you. You lifted the cover of half of the bed and crawled in, once you were in bed, Ivan hugged you really tightly, pulling you close to him. You felt warm for the first time since you became a ghost, you felt much better. Though you didn't need to sleep, you closed your eyes and began to imagine.

The sunbeams shot through the glass window, hitting most of the room, waking you and Ivan up. You felt much different than last night. You tried to turn invisible, it won't work, you tried making one part of your body disappear, that didn't work either, you pinched yourself, and it hurt. You were alive again. What you longed for had come true. You were so excited and over the moon. The Baltics heard you and came into the room.

“Mr Russia, is everything alright- wait, who is that?”

“OK, I'd like you to meet our new family member, ____.”

You didn't know how you became a human again. Maybe Ivan put a curse on you, a good one.
