Description
This knife is made in a style common in the eastern baltic region during the viking age. The blade is 6.25" long, patterned welded from 3 bars. The spine bar is wrought iron scavenged from my mom's 1825 farm. The middle bar is a loose twist of 1095 & 15N20 with 20-something layers. The edge is 432 layers of 1095 & 15N20 in a pool and eye pattern. The handle is caribou antler. The fitting are cast bronze.
