I love that bendy just casually and without pause dismisses the name issue by saying 'if my last name doesn't work for you, I'll take your last name!'. Secure enough in himself and his feelings to not even consider that as somehow detracting from him.

That's cool! India and Godwin were actually born in the US, they're first generation immigrants. But their whole family is Polish & they still live in a Polish neighborhood.
They're also jewish, which is why their family left the country initially I'm sure. This sort of takes place during WWII, though like a weird version of it!
