The ark is getting cut up later this year. But the Lusty is going to be spared that fate.

But apparently; the reason why the Ark couldn't be spared is because she was cannibalized for parts for the Lusty.

Sad to see the Ark Royal go, but if you're getting a pair of shiny new ones, that can't be too bad. Besides, you can always borrow one of ours
