A glass study of one of ~chop-stock 's stock photos.
2 hours roughly, not sure exactly, because my desktop recording seems to have... corrupted.

►What did you learn from doing this study?
I eventually worked out the parallel lines I could see in the glass were actually from the matt underneath being reflected round the contour of it. I think my glass surface ended up looking like thinner glass, maybe because I made the highlights and colour too bright, like too much light's getting through the glass.
►What did you find difficult?
The overall bottle's proportions, didn't annoy me at the time, but I can see it's very off now. The smaller details in the glass annoyed me when doing it, I kept trying to zoom in and try to paint them all, instead of trying to imply them with bigger strokes. And colour matching, always challenging.
►What area's do you wish to improve on?
Colour matching, using texture brushes to get quick details more effectively. Knowing what causes the dark and light reflections in the glass from the environment too, to work out how environment reflections curve on reflective objects.
