I have made some maps and am numbering them to what I need .. and filling in the spaces as you suggested.
If you want them I can email to you and you can use what you want and number as you need.

I have more Maps than I can use now, 2 folders full but thanks. I was talking to Jesse and he's going to see about either expanding the number of maps you can put in a folder or add Browse button so you can use other folders for maps also.

when maps first came out I converted a lot of my Apo and Incendia fracs to Maps and all of my MoJo images to maps, about 500 maps total. It's a pain changing the Ini Dir though so you pick the right folder for the map you want, plus that info isn't saved in M3P or M3I files so you get the wrong map folder all the time. All Jess needs is add 2 bits to the Maps allocation and you can put 1024 maps in one folder, hope that's what he does.

what size do you use for your maps? I noticed the ones that come with it are 128 X 256. but I have been making mine 256 X 256, can I go bigger>

Oness that are preloaded range all over te place. I use mostly 800x400 but also have bunch 400x400. I have found they work better if they are close to the aspect ratio of the image they are used on. That's convient for me since I'm partial to the 2:1 aspect ratio anyway and just need to resize instead of Cropping.

I think I will make a batch of 800 X 400 and people can number them to their liking if they want to use them.

Yeah, that's the way to do it. I always make a wallpaper of all my images at 1152x576 or whatever and what I did was run a Batch resize to 800Xwhatever keeping the aspect ratio of the original on the whole Wallpaper folder and then just run a Batch rename for whatever numbers I need.

I have loaded some cool sunset and scenery images as maps. they are all 5184 X 3456 and work great, so i'm not sure there is a limit to what size they can be. The only thing to be aware of is the larger ones take a couple of seconds to load. But they still work great
