Description I shot this with my Canon Powershot A630. These lovely flowers come from one of my mother's Jane Magnolia trees.

just lovely! They almost don't look real. One of my wife Lynn's favorite perfumes is magnolia.I bet these smell nice too.

Thank you. They do smell very nice, especially on hot days. This year they didn't stay on the trees long because of the lack of rain and the strong winds we had.

It's so good that you were able to take such a beautiful picture of them. I like the way you have the light coming through the flowers, they almost glow.

I shot this a couple of years ago. This year they weren't very spectacular because of the lack of rain and strong winds we had. Last year a huge rainstorm tore them off just three days after they blossomed. Maybe next spring they'll be spectacular again.
