I love them both, though I do like Ellis a little more.
Which is odd, because when the demo for the 360 came out, I fangirled like HELL over Nick. I played that little 2 chapter demo every day, at least twenty times a day.
And then...the full game came out, and Ellis started stealing my heart to the point I started playing as him every time and neglecting my time as Nick. :<
I'm a terrible person.

Can't remember what character I chose first on the 360 demo.. hmm.. I think it was Ellis first then Nick. D:
It was fun but I never played it more than twice since I can't stand FPS on a console. I forgot the controls all the damn time, lol. oO;
Aww, that's cute! But no you're not a terrible person because of that. Things change! I liked Ellis a lot in the beginning but started drifting towards Nick at a later point. :3

I don't play many computer games I can't download, due to the fact that most of them anymore require higher end shit than I can afford.
All of the stuff in my computer right now are (almost) all used, older stuff. So...
I've grown accustomed to playing on consoles because of my inability to buy new hardware when it's needed. On top of that, my computer was once prone to fucking up a LOT. Lots of blue screens, two or three crashes... Makes me paranoid, but it seems like everyone into Nellis plays on the PC, so...
So, I caved. Besides, I've been wanting to take screenies, and play with mods, and all of that, since you can't get that on the 360. Which blows.
So yeah.

Yeah, that's the problem with PCs, they need to be upgraded or they'll be all crap. Since all the new big games have the newest technology.
Which is a good thing with consoles, they'll always be good no matter what and they're a lot cheaper too. That's a big plus.
Only negative thing is playing shooters with that darn controller. XD
Yeah, it's sad that console games don't have any of those mods. :/

I'm pretty decent with the controller, but that's just because the last actual FPS I played on the comp was DooM.
My only issue with the controller is how slow it is compared to my mouse. Ah well.
