Let the Memes begin~

So, day one was pretty standard all things given for a day in the life of a cosplayer at a convention. First of all, I had to attend school until 3, so I basically didn't get the chance to hop in on a good potion of the day, which was kind of a pain. This was followed by a couple hour drive down, getting into cosplay, and standing in line for half an hour to get my badge. Nothing new, all things considered, but I long for the day when I can skip school to attend these cons. If you're wondering why I didn't even try, I'll explain later if you ask.

On the other hand, the day proceeding the wait was quite the fun time. Briana and I hosted a Homestuck Q&A panel, where I was Dirk Strider and she was Jake English. Essentially, all of our characters showed up minus one, giving us a grand total of panelists of 20. For anyone interested, that was honestly more than the amount of people in our audience at times. Still, I had a blast and met many a fun person, including, but not limited to, the people presented in this picture. I nearly won a game of rapid-fire question asking, and I got to prance around the front of the stage like the flamboyant man I was in the costume.

Afterwards, a few of us got together and had Applebee's, the dinner of champions, and generally just had a good time. We got a few odd looks, but nothing horrible, and, to be honest, I have gotten entirely used to the feeling of being looked at funny. What's important is that we all had a good time dabbing it up.

Be prepared for tomorrow. I'm going to be so hopeful~
