futurowoman — Twenty Minutes of TimeZero Sky

Description Last night, the sky above my home was dynamic and breathtaking. As my watchers know, I have a thing for the sky, particularly time-zero and other polaroid manifestations of it. Some people like to denounce sky photos, but I find those people boring morons who've never taken a moment to watch Nature's most spectacular slide show. Over a twenty minute period, I shot these six Time-Zero polaroid sky shots--I hope that you will enjoy watching the sky move in all its awe-inspiring glory as much as I do.

SX-70*Time-Zero
FULL VIEW IS A MUST!

ps. I know this isn't the most spectacularly clean rendering, but I'm more analog than photoshop and frankly, I have to get to my "real" work soon!

Excellent "study" of transition!!

I'm sure alot of people can learn a thing or two about the importance of "time" when they shoot!!

I love these.. and polaroids are so romantic and retro. (why is it that even when I've 'full viewed' something it doesn't say so on the member's gallery, it always says, 'full views: 0'..? Anyway, just wanted you to know I did full view it because, well, how can you not?)

:rolf:

warning: off topic post!

i am never surprised that people at high levels of government are arrogant and evil. this just never shocks me. but how they can be dumb enough to feel safe at the keyboard of a computer... i can't fathom that level of stupidity. sexy instant messages with minors: expected hypocrisy and evil but incomprehensible stupidity and ignorance. sheesh.

i know! such total morons--they are so disconnected from reality and feel so immune (and i guess 99.9999% of the time they ARE immune) that they just think they can get away with anything. pathetic!

heh. i tell you, those sky shots are soooo cliche

i had someone tell me yesterday that i had badly photoshopped the mantis yesterday because the right leg was missing. pointed out that the only thing i had done was change the tone and that the right leg was on the railroad spike. i was trying to figure out why he thought i'd want to photoshop a mantis onto some rusty railroad infrastructure and create allt hose shadows, but forget about part of a leg.

LOL! i was going to go off on someone the other day who commented that part of your purple xpro pictures were "too dark" and somewhere else when someone suggested going into photoshop to fix something or other! omg, the internet makes everyone believe they are an "expert"--esp. if they are 14.

so glad we're perfect!
