Tutorial
The midtones. In this drawing I want to show the importance of the midtones. The character in the back has no midtones. And so he has no features or personality. The one in the front (marv). Has the left side of his face in the light ( no details there). The right side of the face is covered in darkness ( no details there. The Only place in this drawing with personality is the mid Tones in the middle of the face. This is the Only time consuming part of this drawing. And the Only important part. And it is important that the midtones are in the middle of the contrast.(50% black and 50% white).
