Description I wanted to try a different approach in coloring. Painted like watercolor, I used the white of the background as the white highlight. Done loosely.
I'd like to try it again.

As for the drawing, I wanted something not too complicated, but something fun to work on.

Initially it was a sketch for a bigger picture that I somehow ended up not doing. But I liked their expressions, so I took the figures to use for this practice.
One of those "moment" from their ill-starred romance.

yes this one is different from my usual approach. it's done by lots of translucent colors.

Gorgeous! I love the watercolour effect. I especially love their expressions...a little different than normal. Kureha definately looks like the one in charge of the situation! Her face looks like, "Come here, you." And he just looks eager...yes, eager! Sesshoumaru eager? Looks good on him!

Things I like:
Her hair partly undone
The handling of the disheveled cloth
The way she grips his kimono
His hand on her shoulder.

I'm not sure I like his hair though... I understand you were probably going for disheveled, but it looks unevenly cut. But all in all a good picture, and a nice handling on a new method.
