Before anyone decides to get offended or politically correct, I'm a Newfie.I took a broken recip saw blade from work and put a handle on it for the purpose of making my hiking sticks. I didn't put a narrow bevel on it because I didn't want to weaken the blade too much for sawing, and the saw itself is a little blunt, but it's still a pretty functional compromise.
Creative recycling.
