Remember the little black and white foal from Disney's Fantasia?

Well, I had always wanted to paint that funny little colt as an adult stallion, so I have! And personally I think he looks good with a long mane rather than his baby mohawk. And he seems to have inherited his mothers boldness for flying in lightning storms at night.

I used a screencap of the white mare flying in the lightning storm as a pose reference, but I couldn't really tell what the wings were doing in the original so I had to improvise and draw in new ones. All in all I think it turned out quite well.
EDIT: I recently went through a patch of wanting/needing to update my Fantasia fanart pieces due to my style developing over the last year. This was the third on the list to do. Much of it remains the same (the pose), I did tweak a few things to improve the piece: face shape, wing style, shading, tail and I gave him feathers on the back of his legs like a Friesian. The mane is also a little different, but not by much. I even made the eye more detailed and shiny. I think the update is makes this piece much better.
