Description I kinda drew this in celebration of reaching 50 watchers yesterday,
which I am supers psyched about and have bonivich to thank for
(since she featured me in a journal).

I'm not really sure about the background, I was going for something
like the Dragon Age Inquisition tarot cards.. which was a lot harder
than I'd imagined.
Comments and critiques are very welcome as always.

These two are two of my OC's Valenvy and Sahhl.
Hope you people like it.~ Thanks so much to my now 52 watchers!

Impact

I think as I have already stated in the past, I love these two and their interactions, so, in many ways, I may be a biased critic.

That aside, I think you have crafted a love narrative driven art piece without the effort of placing them in a "background/scene" that may dictate the reason for the celebration of one another, or, even, the context of anything about them. I think that, in many ways, is the driving part of this piece. It creates a connection between us and them without "telling" us. It is the old "show" not "tell" ethic of art and literature.

Your color scheme is excellent, and combines a more traditional illustrative art which is prevalent in your works, while giving it your own personal flare. Usually, when thicker lines are used it can create a friction to which we only focus on one aspect of a painting, but your lines bring a balance, especially with the added "sun" which brings focus to where focus needs to be placed (where their faces meet,) but also allows the eye to travel throughout the piece, thanks to the rays coming from the sun-esque circle.

I believe this is one of my favorite pieces by you, because it brings beauty, narrative, and love all into a piece without complexity. It has a show of ease, of patience, and care that really adds to this work as a whole. Well done, my friend!

Thank you so much~ It's really nice to hear (or read)
some very detailed feedback and compliments. I really
appreciate it. And I'm really glad you liked it~

Though it is always nicest to get positive feedback, I
don't mind constructive negative feedback. (Just wanted
to mention it in case you or others would be afraid to hurt
my feelings or something.. don't worry, they're made of steel).
But of course if there wasn't any you felt needed to be
mentioned, then all is good. ~

And again, thanks so much for the lovely feedback. ~

You are quite welcome.

Indeed, I am not afraid to include constructive criticism but, as you mentioned, I didn't see any "glaring" needs; or, at least, not at the moment. The work, I felt, was solid as it stood. And don't worry, if I see something I will be sure to let you know since I am always wanting people to improve and get even better~ ♥

Once again, you are quite welcome. c:
