Description I started a 20 year old anime in 2018 you know what that means
They don't have surnames because they don't really feel important but this is Henri (left) & Brisbane (right), siblings who are about 5 years apart

             --

Henri

Pronunciation: AHN-ree
Birthdate: June 19
Gender: Female
Height: 170.5 cm
Blood type: B
Occupation: Bounty Hunter
Epithet: "Deadeye" Henri (Some people have been know to misunderstand the name as "Deadeyed Henry")

Devil Fruit: Kyoro Kyoro no mi -- See See Fruit
from Kyorokyoro (onomatopoeia for searching for something with one's eyes)
Type: Paramecia
Powers: Gives the user the ability to see at a much greater range than the normal eye. This can be turned on and off and is comparable to "zooming in" on a camera
Drawbacks: Takes time to zoom in and out. Needs breaks or can lead to extreme tunnel vision. Not a lot of peripheral vision while activated.
Weaknesses: Water & sea-stone

After several days of tracking a high valued pirate, Henri is ambushed right outside of the pirate's hideout. She is held captive for days in very bad condition.
She figures that in a few days, both from her wounds and starvation, she will die soon. With the last bit of her strength she manages to free herself from her
shackles when the pirates have left the hideout in the evening. Cautiously, she retrieves her weapons and tries to find her way out, finding a treasure store-room
along the way. A mysterious fruit sits in a chest, surrounded by gold and silver. Not knowing how long she has until the pirates return, it being the first food she's
seen in so long, and the suspicion that this maybe one of the fabled Devil Fruits, Henri scoops up the fruit and as many Belly as she can carry, but is stopped at
the front door by the captain. She uses the fruit as a bargaining chip, hoping that it really is a Devil Fruit, but he makes to grab it back. Henri instantly bites into
it, hoping it will help her to live but also not be turned into some hideous monster.

Nothing seems to happen. But the captain is in enough distress over the Fruit being eaten that it buys Henri enough time to escape. It isn't until a month later,
when she's recovered from the peril of her last hunt that discovers her eyesight is unusually better than normal, to a terrifying amount, when she's lining up a
    shot for her latest bounty.

Weapon‭(‬s‭)‬:
 Sniper rifle (main)
                   Small flintlock (for close range)

             --

Brisbane

Pronunciation: BRIZ-bin
Birthdate: September 14
Gender: Male
Height: 185.5 cm
Blood type: A
Occupation: Marine Lieutenant
Epithet: "Bone Breaker" Brisbane
Weapon‭(‬s‭)‬: Dual Flintlocks (1 double barrel)
                    Hand-to-hand combat

             --

Birthplace: Maroa Island, Paradise
A larger Summer Island, known for it's many ports, busy coastal villages, and desert inland.
Once very peaceful and popular for it's diverse species and resorts, now Maroa is harder to access and is more well known for it's criminal activity.

Story: Brisbane and Henri were born to Kingston and Victoria, animal trainers at a popular tourist attraction on Maroa Island. Their mother, Victoria, passes away a few years after Henri's birth due
to an illness. Kingston, their father, raises the two on his own, which proves difficult as more and more criminals (mostly thieves and money launderers) are arriving on the island, causing
tourists and travelers to steer clear. Money becomes tight over the years and their village no longer feels like a safe place to live.

When Brisbane is in his late teens, several men break into the family's home one night, planning to rob them blind. Kingston attempts to protect his home and fires off a shot to scare the criminals
away, but with a trip in the dark, ends up injuring himself instead. After that night, Henri and Brisbane are left with only each other. Stricken with grief and sick of the crime on the island, and by
extension all evil-doers in the world, Brisbane vows to become a high-ranking Marine who can dispatch justice on anyone in the world, and who can make enough money to send home to take
care of his sister. He leaves for Marineford and begins his career. Henri begs to come with him, saying she'll join the Marines with him, but he tells her to wait until she is older, and leaves her
in the care of a neighbor/family friend.

Years pass and, while through his letters Brisbane decides that Henri is now old enough that he'd be comfortable with her joining him in Marineford, she decides that she knows herself well enough
and that the strict routines and orders of the Marine lifestyle are not for her. Being a fair enough shot and old enough to leave home comfortably, she joins up with a crew of bounty hunters who
stopped on Maroa Island. After being a big help on their first mission together, she decides that this may be the way to make a living for her.

Over the years and events of Henri gaining powers from a Devil Fruit and Brisbane being promoted to Lieutenant, Henri is travelling towards their home island. She overhears chatting in a bar that
Maroa is almost entirely a home from criminals now and that anyone who ends up there with a log pose is completely screwed. She follows the two Marines who were talking about it to get more
information and learns that some of the Marine higher-ups had been dropping off criminals on the island to save room in their prisons for more important criminals. It was because of the Marines
that their safe, happy homeland was turned into a felon hot spot and the reason their father ended up dead. She knew she had to make her way to Marineford and tell her brother what she learned,
and she did just that. Unfortunately, when she reached him and relayed her intel, he wouldn't believe it. Brisbane was dedicated to the Marines and their way of life and he only believed that they
were doing good for the world. Their relationship wasn't the same after that day, neither backing down or giving the other a chance, but it could possibly be salvaged.

Who knows what the future holds for these two dundundun
