Description
This is what's known as a Jydael, or "forest dragon" in my world. Dragon is a loosely used term due their small stature (approximately the size of a very large house cat) and complete lack of intelligent communication.
Its appearance varies based on the season. In the fall and winter, its horns are barren. In the spring and summer, they're vibrant with flowers that mimic their current territory for camouflage.
The male's tail pedals here are similar to a peacock; large and extravagant petals attract mates.
Females have more bud-like flowers where they tuck their single egg deep inside the pedal cocoon to keep it safe with them.
