I love your Hook art. It's stunning, probably the best I've seen in a lot of trawling the Net looking for pictures of the one and only Captain. Plus you're doing it now, not ten years ago - yay!
Star Mile is a lovely story. Was it ever finished, do you know? I read this scene as a suitable end, but the author's notes suggested not.

Yes, I've read Caring For Hook and enjoyed it a lot. I don't know Never, Never, or maybe I've forgotten the title. Is it on Archive of Our Own or Fanfiction.net, do you remember?
I think Cove of the Moon and Faerie Rings are among my favourite Hook stories, though neither involve Wendy. Have you read them, or do you stick to the Hook/Wendy pairings?

I fully agree with him. I think Neverland represented the inner world of Wendy..... the story contains many symbolic things, I suppose it's a very interesting topic.
So most of the stories I have read are about Hook and Wendy. But I'm very curious for the Hook fanfictions too, I find him such unique, interesting character.

Here are the links for Cove of the Moon and Faerie Rings. The first is a romance/adventure, the second adventure and a relationship, but a father-son one. It's not remotely like a slash story, but has some wonderfully intense moments (and the author does not like Pan one little bit, which suits me, lol.)

You may laugh, but I haven't read PP, nor watched the film, yet. When I found out as a teenager that Hook dies, I lost any interest in reading it. No way was I going to read a book in which a major character who looks like Charles II, is killed. Hook was the only reason I'd ever thought of reading it. I may yet watch the film, but from the snippets I've looked at so far, I suspect I shall be skipping any Captainless scenes ...

I could totally understand your aspect, but belive me, the 2003 movie is an amazi g film, you should see it! By the way I'm sure one it that Hook did not die. I suppose he cut himself with his hook from that giant crocodile. Neverland can not be without Hook or Pan because of the balance I think.

Yes, maybe it's no coincidence that almost everyone thinks Hook survived, it also think this is the truth, and he still lives in Neverland.

The author has done a lot of Hook/Wendy/Pan fics, but be warned, most of them are *very* dark and usually sexually graphic. This is probably the lightest of them. There's some violence but no sex.

Yes..almost all of them contains porn scenes maybe because the writers imagine themselves in her place..I do not know.
To be honest I really do not like that kind of fanfictions.. it is so dissapointing me. I think those things do not fit Hook's personality. true he is a pirate, a manipulative man but also a gentleman too and not a sexmaniac raper.

Yes! A friend said he'd possibly be selfish, but no mini de Sade, and I think that's accurate. I admit I can enjoy the dark stories, but they don't strike me as in character.

I just reread Star Mile last night, too. I do wish the author had written more. It's a good ending with lots of possibilities opening, but I want to see their relationship development. Not least to see if Hook gets comfortable with being hugged.

(The way the writer portrayed Hook as a groggy, saucy man was so sexy! I suppose this behavior is very suited him.
I clearly "saw" that famous smirk on his face while I was reading the chapter ....Okay I have to stop it here

I completely agree with you, Star Mile was such a promising, beautiful fanfiction. Everybody's so well-portrayed, especially our Captain of course! It was soo cute when they slept next to each other and Hook's first reaction for this..ect.

I haven't read it yet, but it sounds quite interesting for me, especially because if I know correctly the author was also inspired by the 2003 movie version.
I heard this book takes the familiar, turns it around and presents a fresh new vision of Neverland. That this is actually an adult version of the classic Peter Pan story. While the charm and original elements are still in place, this takes on a whole new depth. Peter Pan is painted in a not so flattering light, just like the way he really is. And of course I'm curious for the romance between Hook and Wendy.
Although who knows, maybe I will be disappointed in this book.
