The Netherlands, Utrecht - January 19, 2013
I don't take Street pictures in my hometown that often - too much clutter and too few urban vibrations - but this is one. Taken at one of my regular haunts over the course of ... um... some thirty years, the french fry stand at the Bakkerstraat. I was sharing my attention between my own cone and the camera, and didn't like this much at first.
Canon 6D, EF 28-135; Tv mode, 1/200 sec, f/4.0, ISO 640 (auto). Lightroom 4.

I'm not sure if he was eying me or the girl (in pictures people often seem to look at the camera while they don't). Where I live, a lot of the people look that way all the time. I hope that doesn't have anything to do with me.

I'm Turkish and I lived in Germany for some years, also traveled through Europe. I can say that Europeans are big on looking serious and cold, haha. Maybe it's the weather mixed with culture. If you turned up the heat around 10 degrees with sunshine and put some music on, things could have been a little different, maybe

I love the 6D very much. When I read the reviews (relatively small, good ISO, and some other things, so 'suitable for Street and travel'), I thought: that camera is designed for me. It has even surpassed my expectations. The high ISO quality is amazing. It changed the way I take pictures, but admittedly I come from a 450D, with bad high ISO and awkward manual mode.

Same with the 7D, good high iso. The only thing is that you need to get used to a new camera... and it takes me time.
