Please zoom for optimum viewingThis was one of those things where it was supposed to just be a little sketch, then just a lined drawing, then it sorta turned into a whole painting ... BUT I really really love how it turned out! This is Lauren O'Hart the human form of Nineve, she will kick ass for you (or act like she can), and will also 100% throw a rock at your window and help you sneak out so you can go on a night walk together. She doesn't have a tree on her head because.. that would look strange. Most of my characters are people, they're more developed that way but they have an au equine form, mainly for an excuse to have and draw equine characters.
Only thing that really bothers me is that her heads too big/shoulders too small! But by the time I realized it, it would have been hard to fix, so we're just gonna pretend that it's not lmao. I hope you guys like it! c:

I honestly don't see any anatomy issues at all! I love how easily you can transfer your style from one creature to another! Very beautiful job on the watercolor and this piece! <3 I've been wanting to take an oil class to understand human portraits more, so seeing that it worked for you makes me excited to get into it! <3 Very amazing job! Eh I mean I'm sure there are some in the body area but they aren't bad enough to have to go and fox anything, she'd probably look a little better with wider shoulders is all. Thats cool that you say my style transfers over, I mean I guess of course it would but when drawing something new it's always like crap will this look like a style or just weird? LOL and totally! I feel like painting with oils really helped in a lot of other departments too, the way a paint digitally has changed since I started using oils, they are a wonderful medium! Thank you so much though! I'm definitely going to keep it up! c:
