Description not just zombie's and not just Nazi's, they are Nazi zombies. double the evil, double the fury and double the fashion sense. for some inexplicable reason they they have risen from the grave to try to take over the world once more. good thing there is a private military that has trained for years, just for this scenario. people laughed, but whose laughing now as they work to save the world from the undead horde.

this project took me about 4 weeks start to finish and was a huge learning experience, this was my first time working with vacuumed formed parts, second time painting figurines, and my second tank. there was a lot more i could of done but for my first "real" dirroma this was a good start. all in all i am happy with the end result. with this experience hopefully my next diorama will come out much better.

special thanks to every one who inspired me along the way( too many of you to list sorry) and thanks to my friend Zyrr [link] for naming the piece.

Jeeze, just looking at stuff like this makes me wanna get back into making model kits. I love how it looks like the IFV is sneaking around the building like that.

I made a small diorama in high school, it was a ton of fun, but nothing as detailed as this!

What do you mean by vacuumed formed parts? Are they 1:12 scale?

Cool concept , I dont think I have ever seen a diorama about zombies . If u dont mind some time in future I will use that

enc86 In reply to osiskars [2012-04-05 20:22:01 +0000 UTC]

the diorama is in 1/35 scale.the building is vacuum formed, witch means it comes on a sheet of credit card like plastic. so the building comes in half's and is hallow. it took a lot to clean it up and hide the seams. pulse painting the bricks by hand took me forever. and yea i have only seen a few dioramas featuring zombies so by all means man, go for it. this was a very fun project!

I seem, the standard world war miniature scale

Ok , got it , have done that.. Simple that the it wasn't solid foam block , for example, but simply plastic sheet wall parts, can imagine getting them together must have been a pain in the ass. Did you do the vacuuming yourself as well?

it wasn't that much of a pain but it was tricky. it was a kit put out by mini arts, some day i would love to get the equipment to do that kinda thing but right now i have bigger needs, like an airbrush.

ou believe me it could have been pain, I have cut many cuts in my fingers when trying to clean up plastic seams and edges with Stanley knife
Ye an airbrush is very good thing, its a hobby essential ... I have to get one too .
