Inspired by a passage from Otfried Preußler's book Krabat.
"Zum ersten Mal hörte Krabat den Fremden sprechen. Es war eine Stimme wie glühende Kohlen und klirrender Frost in einem.
Er spürte, wie es ihm eiskalt den Rücken hinablief, während er gleichzeitig das Gefühl hatte, mitten in einem lichterloh brennenden Feuer zu stehen."

I couldn't find a translation for this quote and it is quite hard to translate... it basically says that when Krabat heard for the first time the voice of the stranger, his voice sounded like icy frost and blazing coals at the same time. The stranger's voice made him feel a chill down this bone while at the same time he felt as if he was standing in a fire.
