Description
Same name as the Campground we stayed at for 3 nights around here. It's just a bit to the left of the frame in the forest. The view is from the top of Seneca Rocks (see below) and shows the small settlement around here, which is mostly tourism based. We hiked up here for sunset and there is a viewing platform with a very narrow view. You can scramble a bit from there to get to this point which not only opens up a wide view in this direction but also offers views into every direction. Funnily enough, at the viewpoint there was a sign saying that one shouldn't go further, it's too dangerous and that you get the exact same views as from the platform anyways. Yeah, right...
This picture, as well as all the others, are dedicated to our awesome friends Gretchen and Dave, who gave us a car out of nowhere to do this trip. Without them this trip would have been impossible. Another special thanks goes to jonathanjessup for putting together a fantastic list of places to visit in very short notice! He enabled us to just go and make the most of our time.
