Our spot for lunch and sunset on our hike of the Dewdrop Trail. From a technical perspective I'm not happy with this image as I accidentally underexposed it quite a bit. Please bear with it. I tried my best to reduce the grain without losing to many details. I still like this image quite a bit because of the framing.

In hindsight we should have stayed a lot longer here. It was windy and got cold and we didn't bring our headlamps (genius, I know...) so we decided to leave after the sun had settled behind the mountains. I knew there was a chance that the sky would start to catch colour again later but I don't think it was worth the risk of walking the whole way back through steep, pitch dark forest without light. Anyways, the sky indeed caught fire on our way back and glowed deeply red for about 15 minutes. It would have been an awesome picture from here but whatever - safety first.
