odd, I always thought of Al as more of a fisticuffs or maybe a sword kind of guy.

He leans more towards unarmed combat than with weapons, but for greater threats, he would need some more offensive and defensive power. The mace, the shield, the belt and the armor are mystical items to help him.

Yes, I have. But I don't (and I won't) play it. the reason is: I can't pull myself to play a game which sole purpose (or at least its main storyline) is to slay dragons.
