But uh... There's a certain question I asked myself just after posting this, and it's "why the hell is Donnie crumbling over a couple of insults?"

And the answer to that is: He has a genuine insecurity about being a mutant, and blames it as the reason April is with Casey to begin with. Casey's an ass, and he blames himself for being the reason she fell into his arms at all.

I didn't want to write him THAT sensitive, but I mean... Drama. Plus, I'm giving myself an excuse: I'm new to applying storytelling ideas onto a drawing, rather than in writing. I'm working on being able to express my ideas more efficiently, so that when someone sees what I've drawn, they don't need to be told what it's about...

Maybe I'm just being hard on myself, and everything is fine. Who knows?
