Spyro The Dragon In Dragon FlyzSpyro flies through the sky and sees that the forest below is being engulfed by lava.
“Looking at this place is depressing. I wonder what on earth happened?” Says Spyro.
Suddenly he sees people riding on Dragons fighting creatures.
Spyro flies to the Dragons to help them fight their enemies.
He breathes fire at the creatures spooking them and causing them to fly away.
The people look at Spyro.
“Looks like those creatures are gone.” Says Spyro.
“They’ll be back soon.” Says one of the Riders.
“Anyway, who are you guys?” Asks Spyro.
“We are the Dragon Flyz. I am their leader Z’neth. These are my brothers and sisters, Summit, Apex, Peak, and Aron. We’re looking for crystals called Amber.”
“What’s so special about them?” Asks Spyro.
“They’re fuel for our home Airlandis.” Says Z’neth.
“Ok, I think I get it now. You need these crystals to make your home safer right? Considering the land is dangerous.” Says Spyro.
The group sees Amber on the Lava. Spyro picks up the crystals and gives them to the Dragon Flyz.
“I think we should go back.” Says Summit.
“Indeed.” Says Z’neth.
Little did they know, they’re being watched by one of the creatures. It flies to it’s fortress.
It walks to the evil Dread Wing.
“Well, what do you have to say for yourself?” Says Dread Wing.
“We were about to destroy the Dragon Flyz, but a little Dragon got in our way.” Says the creature.
“So, you mean to tell me one little dragon defeated you all? That is unacceptable!” Says Dread Wing.
“I promise it will not happen again.” Says the creature.
“Oh, I am sure you will keep that promise.” Says Dread Wing.
Dread Wing breathes fire at the creature! Bringing it’s life to an end.
“It’s so hard to find good help these days.” Says Dread Wing.
Three of his Lieutenants walk towards him. They are Nocturna, Fryte, and Gangryn.
“We’ve been battling the Dragon Flyz for a while. And now this other dragon comes along.” Says Dread Wing.
“We will destroy this Dragon.” Says Fryte.
“But how is this little Dragon a threat to us?” Asks Nocturna.
“I’m not sure. But I’m not taking any chances.” Says Dread Wing.
Meanwhile, Spyro and the Dragon Flyz land on Airlandis. They meet with one of the Elders known as Aron.
“I see you made it back safely.” Says Aron.
“Yes, and we made a new friend.” Says Peak.
“I see, did you also find the Amber?” Asks Aron.
“Yes we did.” Says Z’neth.
“That is good.” Says Aron.
They go to the Airlandis Engine and place the crystals inside.
“It will last a month, although I fear that these crystals are becoming scarcer.” Says Aron.
“So, this place will fall without those crystals?” Asks Spyro.
“Indeed it will. We cannot exist here forever.” Says Aron.
“So, have you searched for a new place to live?” Asks Spyro.
“We have tried. But almost all of this world is uninhabitable.” Says Apex.
“You said almost. That doesn’t mean completely.” Says Spyro.
“You have a point young one.” Says Aron.
Suddenly, Red alerts blare. They look to the large screen in the room and see Dread Wing and his forces.
“It’s him! He’s going to attack now of all times!” Says Z’neth.
“Let me guess guys, he’s your sworn enemy right?” Asks Spyro.
“Yes, he’s been constantly attacking us for a while.” Says Z’neth.
“Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s get him out of the sky!” Says Spyro.
And so the Dragon Flyz board their Dragons and fly to the incoming threat. Spyro flies with his new allies.
Spyro and Z’neth fly to Dread Wing himself.
“Z’neth, we meet again my friend, and this must be the little dragon I’ve heard of.” Says Dread Wing.
“The name’s Spyro!”
“Well then, Mr. Spyro. You have interfered with my plans to destroy the Dragon Flyz. Stay out of my way or perish!” Says Dread Wing.
“How about choose a third option, burn your face!” Says Spyro.
Spyro breathes fire at Dread Wing!
Dread Wing uses his Wings to shield himself.
“You will pay for that!” Says Dread Wing.
After a few minutes of fighting, both Spyro and Z’neth gain the upper hand.
“Impressive. I must admit I have underestimated you little one.” Says Dread Wing.
“You’re not easy to admit defeat huh? What are you up to?” Asks Z’neth.
“Simple really, a diversion!” Says Dread Wing.
The two look behind them to see Nocturna and Fryte using a detonator to blow the explosives they placed on the Airlandis Engine. Destroying it!
“In a few minutes, Airlandis will be destroyed. You may continue your fight, or save the innocents. The choice is yours.” Says Dread Wing.
The two quickly go back to Airlandis and begin to evacuate as many people as they can.
Dread Wing laughs and returns to his fortress.
All the people are placed either in escape pods or on the backs of dragons.
Airlandis quakes making one person fall off the edge! Spyro quickly swoops in and grabs him!
“You’re going to be ok!” Says Spyro.
Everyone escapes and safely land on the mountains below.
“I can’t believe it. Our home… destroyed…” Says Apex.
“Dread Wing will pay for this!” Says Peak.
“At least everyone is ok.” Says Spyro.
“Yes but, I’m afraid we’re all without a home now.” Says Aron.
Spyro looks down and sees land. Healthy looking land filled with green foliage and clean water.
Everyone follows their new hero.
“I don’t believe it. A new place to call home!” Says Summit.
“Indeed. Although I’m afraid if Dread Wing finds out about this place, he’ll destroy it.” Says Aron.
“Then we’re just going to have to stop him. For good.” Says Spyro.
“You’re right. It’s now or never.” Says Z’neth.
Meanwhile, Dread Wings forces celebrate their victory.
“Well done master! You’ve finally defeated your enemies!” Says Gangryn.
“Do not underestimate them! They will retaliate! And when they do we WILL be ready for them. Especially. SPYRO!” Says Dread Wing.
“Look, at the screen! It’s the Dragon Flyz!” Says Fryte.
They look outside and see Spyro and the Dragon Flyz headed their way!
“I knew it! Prepare for battle!” Says Dread Wing.
All of his minions fly to battle the Dragon Flyz!
Nocturna and Fryte are with his minions.
“You don’t know when to quit! Even though your home has been destroyed! You still believe you can defeat us!” Says Nocturna.
“We’ll find a way!” Says Summit.
“Enough! This will be your last stand!” Says Fryte.
They both charge at the Dragon Flyz but Spyro breathes fire at them forcing them to fall to the ground.
“Ok, I think those two are taken care of.” Says Spyro.
More minions come their way.
“We’ll take care of these minions! You and Z’neth go find Dread Wing!” Says Apex.
And so Spyro and Z’neth go to Dread Wing’s fortress.
Inside of the fortress Gangryn watches the battle on one of the large screens.
“This is not good! They’ll be here any moment!” Says Gangryn.
Dread Wing appears behind Gangryn and grabs him by the head.
“Tell me, what happened to Nocturna and Fryte? Why are they not on the battlefield?” Asks Dread Wing.
“I think they’ve been defeated! Our best chance is to make a tactical retreat!” Says Gangryn.
“We are THIS close to destroying our enemies for good! And your only solution is to run like a coward???” Says Dread Wing.
“No! It’s just because of that Purple Dragon! We may not survive!” Says Gangryn.
“There is no WE anymore! You have failed me for the last time!” Says Dread Wing.
Dread Wing throws Gangryn into the Magma below!
Spyro and Z’neth finally find Dread Wing himself.
“I’ve been expecting you two.” Says Dread Wing.
“Dread Wing, you’ve terrorized my people for far too long! This ends here and now!” Says Z’neth.
“For once I agree! Once I destroy you I will hunt everyone of your people! There will be no mercy.” Says Dread Wing.
“Not gonna happen!” Says Spyro.
“And you! Spyro! You have become a thorn in my side! I will enjoy tearing you apart!” Says Dread Wing.
Dread Wing mounts his Dragon and they take to the skies.
Spyro and Z’neth follow them!
“Come! This is our final battle!” Says Dread Wing.
After a few minutes of fighting Dread Wing’s dragon grows weaker.
“I will rip the both of you limb from limb even if it’s the last thing I do!” Says Dread Wing.
“I don’t think so!” Says Spyro.
He charges at Dread Wing and attacks him! Forcing Dread Wing to fall!
Spyro keeps attacking Dread Wing until he breathes fire at Dread Wing’s face!
He pushes Dread Wing into the Magma ending him once and for all.
“After all this time, it’s finally over.” Says Z’neth.
All of Dread Wings minions are defeated.
The rest of the Dragon Flyz join Z’neth and Spyro.
“I don’t believe it, we finally did it.” Says Peak.
“Indeed. Let us return home.” Says Z’neth.
The next day, the humans cheer for the Dragon Flyz and Spyro.
“Words cannot describe how thankful I am.” Says Aron.
“You should thank Spyro. If it weren’t for him we wouldn’t have discovered our new home. And defeated Dread Wing.” Says Apex.
“So, what are you going to do now?” Asks Spyro.
“We will live our lives and hopefully, restore this planet.” Says Aron.
“I’m sure you’ll do well.” Says Spyro.
And with that, Spyro flies to the sky and the Dragon Flyz watch as he goes.
