Shadow The Hedgehog in Blazing ChromeIn a secret laboratory, a human being walks to a scrap pile of dead robots and lays on a lab table activating the computer.
“Begin the transformation.” Says the Woman.
Robotic clawed arms then begin to grab the scrap pieces of the Dead Robots.
The Robotic claws then begin dissecting the Woman and painfully implementing the robotic scrap parts into her body.
“Perfect. Now that I am rendered invincible I can finally get rid of the rest of humanity in this world.” Says the now Cybernetic Woman.
Meanwhile, in an abandoned city Shadow the Hedgehog rides his Motorcycle looking for answers as to what might have happened to the world at large.
He looks ahead and sees people fighting Robots, deciding to join the people in their fight against the Mechanical oppressors.
Shadow quickly destroys the robots effortlessly.
“Useless piles of junk.” Says Shadow.
The people stare at Shadow, in awe.
“You don’t need to worry. I’m not going to hurt you. I just want to know what happened to this world.” Says Shadow.
A woman and a Robot appear.
“I can tell you. My name is Mavra and this is my companion Doyle. We are in a war against those machines.”
“Something tells me this war has been going on for a very long time.” Says Shadow.
“You got that right. We are the last of the resistance.” Says Mavra.
Suddenly, a giant mechanical floating head appears and fires lasers upon the people from it’s mouth!
“You get these people out of here! I’ve got this!” Says Shadow.
Shadow runs toward the Giant Mechanical Head and after a few minutes of fighting, he destroys the robot in a massive explosion.
“Well, you destroyed that thing easily! Perhaps we may be able to stand a chance after all.” Says Doyle.
Suddenly a giant hologram appears, the Cybernetic Woman stood towering before them.
“Greetings survivors of the Human race. I am Layal, master of the machine! I have come to give you a message. Surrender and I will spare you, as my slaves!”
“Like hell we will!” Says Mavra.
The hologram recording ends and disappears.
“I doubt she’ll keep her promise of sparing people.” Says Shadow.
“We’d rather die than be her slaves anyway.” Says Mavra.
“Well, in that case I’m coming with you.” Says Shadow.
Meanwhile in her base, Layal looks at her computer seeing footage of Shadow at work.
“That black Hedgehog is going to be a problem. Then again, he’d also be the perfect specimen for study.” Says Layal.
She activates a robotic Dog, Goat, and Snake.
“This is your target. Study him thoroughly. You are to capture him do you understand?” Asks Layal.
The Robotic Creatures nod having their marching orders and exit.
“Succeed or fail, they will get me the information I need to create the perfect killing machine.” Says Layal.
Elsewhere, the group drives to a desert and suddenly see Robots coming their way.
The group fires at the machines, Shadow looks to the ground and notices something odd.
“Slow down! Something’s not right!” Says Shadow.
The robotic snake shoots out of the ground! Mechanical fangs bared for its prey to see!
“That is one big snake!” Says Doyle.
“We need to get rid of it! It’s in our way!” Says Mavra.
After a few minutes of fighting, the group manages to sufficiently damage the Robotic Snake.
Shadow leaps in the air delivering a very powerful Dropkick! Sending the Robotic creature to the ground where it explodes upon impact!
They look at the Robotic scraps left behind and notice a screen playing a video. The Robot Dog is opening fire upon a forest.
“These machines will stop at nothing until they destroy everything!” Says Mavra.
The group drives to their next destination.
In the forest, the Robot Dog sits in the trees.
A bear attempts to stop the Robot Dog but the Canine strikes it forcing the bear to fly into another tree.
Shadow quickly attacks the Robotic Dog.
“That was a bad thing to do Mutt!” Says Shadow.
After a few minutes of fighting, Shadow quickly destroys the robot dog.
Mavra looks at the bear to see if it is ok.
“How’s the bear?” Asks Shadow.
“He’s badly injured. But, he’ll live.” Says Mavra.
Suddenly, the group turns around and are met by the gaze of the Robot Goat!
It leaps away to the mountains with the group giving chase.
Shadow quickly follows the Robot Goat to the mountain tops.
After a few minutes of fighting the Robot Goat is left on the ground and before exploding it fires missiles at the nearby city and forest!
Shadow uses Chaos Spear to destroy the missiles!
“That was a close call. Layal’s robots won’t give up without a fight.” Says Shadow.
Meanwhile, Layal compiles all of the data acquired from the Robo Creatures’ battles with Shadow.
“Excellent. My perfect weapon will be completed! It will destroy that Hedgehog!” Says Layal.
She looks at her killing machine. It wears the face of Shadow.
Elsewhere, the group goes to their base to triangulate the location of Layal.
“We may have stopped her recent attacks, but we can’t do this forever.” Says Mavra.
“Agreed. We need to find her location.” Says Shadow.
Suddenly the computers blare revealing the location of Layal’s base.
“There it is! It’s not guarded.” Says Mavra.
“I don’t like this one bit. It looks like a trap waiting to be sprung.” Says Doyle.
“I should go first. If it is an ambush you should dispatch all the robots.” Says Shadow.
“Ok. Good Luck Shadow.” Says Mavra.
And with that, Shadow goes to the location of Layal’s sinister base.
The other two follow in their cars.
“Wow, he’s really fast.” Says Shadow.
Shadow goes to the base and looks ahead seeing no guards.
“This is too quiet. Something’s not right here.” Says Shadow.
Robots leap from beneath the ground and begin firing upon Shadow!
Both Mavra and Doyle return fire!
“It looks like we’re even!” Says Doyle.
They enter the base and walk into a large room.
At the center of the room, Layal floats in the air.
“You’re just in time for your demise.” Says Layal.
“I think you’ve got it backwards. We’re the ones ending things here.” Says Mavra.
“I’m afraid not. You see I have taken interest in your Hedgehog friend. I studied his abilities and with the data I’ve collected I created the perfect killing machine.” Says Layal.
“What kind of machine are you talking about?” Asks Shadow.
“I’m glad you asked.” Says Layal.
The machine walks to the group with heavy metal clunks.
“Says hello to my greatest creation. Metal Shadow!” Says Layal.
“You copied me?!? Now I know how Sonic feels.” Says Shadow.
“This so-called copy will not only destroy you, but the entire human race as well!” Says Layal.
Metal Shadow charges at Shadow and shoves him with such tremendous force that Shadow is sent flying through the wall taking the battle outside!
“Now that he’s taken care of, I will deal with you two personally!” Says Layal.
“Go ahead and try…” Says Mavra, gearing up for a fight.
Outside, Shadow continues to battle his Metal counterpart.
“You may look like me, but you’re just a cheap copy!” Says Shadow.
After a few minutes of fighting, Shadow grabs Metal Shadow slamming him into the ground leaving a devastating crater!
As Metal Shadow, glitches out from the damage caused by the impact, Shadow then grabs Metal Shadow by the head and places his foot on the robot’s shoulder. Finally with all of his strength he yanks backward ripping the head from it’s mechanical body, smashing it on the ground for good measure!
“Now that that scrap pile’s taken care of, I need to go back!” Says Shadow.
Back in Layal’s base Mavra and Doyle continue their battle with Layal.
“You’re both very persistent I’ll give you that! But you shall grow exhausted eventually!” Says Layal.
“Guess you’re not as strong as you thought you were.” Says Mavra.
Suddenly Shadow zooms into the room, kicking Layal is the midsection!
“This war ends now!!!” Says Shadow.
After a few minutes of fighting Layal is left on her knees.
Shadow uses Chaos Spear to impale Layal!
“No… I sacrificed my human body just to be stronger…” Says Layal.
“You think human beings are weak, but you’ve underestimated them. The moment you lost your humanity was the moment you started walking towards your own doom.” Says Shadow.
“Well… if I’m going down, then I’m taking you all with me.” Says Layal.
Layal orders all of her Robots to come to her base! They then begin to intiate their final protocol and one by run exploding in their designated areas, bringing the base down as their leader programmed them to.
Shadow uses Chaos Control to teleport he and his allies to safety!
The look at the base in the distance and see all of the destruction caused the Robot’s fiery demises.
“I think that’s the end of the war. Every robot we catalogued in ours just entered that building and destroyed themselves…” Says Mavra.
The next day, the humans slowly begin repairing the damage done to their civilization.
As Shadow gets on his bike, Mavra and Doyle walk to meet with him.
“Thank you. If it weren’t for you, this war would’ve gone on longer and a lot of lives would be lost.” Says Mavra.
“I only do what needs to be done.” Says Shadow.
“Anyway, we’re going to try to rebuild and find as many survivors as we can.” Says Doyle.
“I wish you the best of luck.” Says Shadow.
And with that, Shadow rides off into the Sunset.
