Metal Gear Rising: Spy FictionIn a city, a mysterious person walks into an ominous building. He places a conspicuous box on a chair and leaves.
The box opens and nanomachines crawl out, immediately consuming the building and with great speed the entire city as well!
The next day, Raiden runs through a nearby forest in search of the person responsible for the attack.
“It looks like they left a trail. I’m supposed to join two agents.” Says Raiden.
Raiden goes is lead to a lake and suddenly begins to suspect he’s being watched.
“You can come out now. I know you’re here.” Says Raiden.
The two spies deactivate their camouflage.
“You’re really good.” Says one of the spies.
“So, you two are the ones I was sent here to work with?” Asks Raiden.
“Yes. My name is Billy Bishop, and this is Sheila Crawford. We’re here to find the person who’s behind the nanomachine attack.”
“Got any leads?” Asks Raiden.
“Of course. His name is Busiris.” Says Billy.
“I see. In that case we’d better move fast.” Says Raiden.
Meanwhile at a secret base, Busiris tests his nanomachine weapons. The nanomachine combine to form a sword, and a gun.
“Excellent, I’m getting much better at mastering my control of the nanomachines.” Says Busiris.
One of his soldiers walks to his room.
“Sir, we anticipate that spies will soon close in on the location of this base. Says the soldier.
“I see. I suppose we’d better prepare. But before we do, we need to run some diagnostics.” Says Busiris.
“What do you mean?” Asks the soldier.
Busiris swiftly turns the nanomachines into a sword and plunges the sword into the soldier! The nanomachines then proceed to consume the soldier’s entire body.
“Thank you for your service. Your sacrifice was not in vain.” Says Busiris with an evil grin.
Outside, the three plan to infiltrate Busiris’ base of operations.
“There it is, we take him, and our mission is complete.” Says Sheila.
“I have a feeling it won’t be that easy.” Says Raiden.
They sneak inside of the base and enter a room that seems of interest. Once inside they look at a computer and see video footage of the nanomachines at work.
In the video they see people being consumed by the nanomachines!
“That’s…that’s awful. Nobody deserves a fate like that.” Says Sheila.
“We need to hurry and find this maniac. Fast.” Says Raiden.
Suddenly, an Alarm is triggered!
The computer reveals Busiris!
“Hello, my uninvited guests! I expected that we’d have Spy trouble.” Says Busiris.
“You must be the boss behind this entire operation! You do know we’re going to stop you right?” Asks Raiden rhetorically.
“I’m afraid not. As you can see, I’ve been moving my nanomachine operation into another base. But don’t worry, my soldiers will keep you occupied.” Says Busiris.
The soldiers storm the room and point their guns at the three spies!
“It’s gonna take more than that to stop us!” Says Raiden.
Raiden quickly slices the soldiers into tiny pieces.
“C’mon you two! We can still catch him!” Says Raiden.
They quickly run to Busiris’ escape vehicle but are too late as the plane gets airborne.
“Darn it! We’re too late!” Says Billy.
Suddenly, a giant soldier with a Gun arm falls to the ground. He begins to shoot at the group!
They quickly take cover!
“We need to take care of this guy first!” Says Raiden.
After a few minutes of fighting, Raiden slices the soldier’s gun arm and head off.
“Now that that’s taken care of, how’re we supposed to catch up to Busiris?” Asks Raiden.
“I think I have an idea.” Says Sheila.
The group finds another plane in the hanger nearby and decide to commandeer it, flying off in pursuit of their target.
The next day, the group is lead in their pursuit to an island. It has a large building at the center.
“This must be the place.” Says Billy.
They land and walk up the beach.
Raiden looks ahead and sees people wearing elegant clothing.
“This place is full of the rich and elite.” Says Raiden.
Billy uses one of his advanced cloaking devices to disguise himself as one of the elites.
“Well, it’s time to suit up.” Says Billy.
Raiden and Sheila use the cloaking device to disguise themselves as well and head to the gathering.
In a fancy room, Busiris is on a grand stage, holding a conference with the elites.
“Everyone, it is an honor to have such esteemed guests. We created a weapon that can destroy entire cities and civilizations. Many will fall, but that is a sacrifice I’m sure we are all willing to make.” Says Busiris.
The group enters the grand hall hearing all of what Busiris has said. This makes Raiden angry.
“Now, we’re going to test our nanomachines in one of the United States of America. Will it be Florida? Or Texas?” Asks Busiris.
“I say Florida! I never liked their governor!” Says one of the elites.
“No we’ll do Texas first!” Says Another elite.
“How about this? We do both.” Says Busiris.
Busiris prepares to launch the nanomachine attack but Raiden throws his sword at Busiris’s hand!
“That’s enough!” Says Raiden
The two other spies join Raiden and aim their weapons at Busiris.
“Well, my uninvited guests made their way here!” Says Busiris.
“We’re shutting this operation down!” Says Sheila.
“I’m afraid that’s not going to happen.” Says Busiris.
Nanomachine form around Busiris’ hand healing it almost instantly.
“Good as new. And as for you? This is where your lives end!” Says Busiris.
The nanomachines form into swords! Busiris grabs them and charges at the group!
After a few minutes of fighting, Busiris is left on his knees.
The elites begin to boo the group.
“What is wrong with you people? Don’t you know what he’s doing is wrong?” Asks Sheila.
“Oh I’m afraid that’s not going to help. We’ve spent good money to make this happen.” Says Busiris.
“Who gave you all this money?” Asks Billy.
“The Democrats. They have an idea to destroy their opponents cities. We will rule America.” Says Busiris.
“You will put innocent people in danger so you can be on top You really are disgusting.” Says Raiden.
“Those Innocents made their choice by living in their cities. Now they must pay for it.” Says Busiris.
The Nanomachines consume the building and turn it into an arena. It also consumes Busiris’ back forming into wings.
“Come, follow me to the skies if you dare!” Says Busiris.
And with that he gets airborne.
The group follows him via the stairs.
They reach the top of the building and find Busiris with a maniacal glare.
“This is the end of the road!” Says Billy.
“I don’t think so! You can’t destroy the nanomachines! You think what we’re doing is terrorism. You’re wrong! We are only cleansing America.” Says Busiris.
“Don’t give me that! You’re just attacking people who are free thinkers! We won’t let you harm anyone else!” Says Raiden.
After a few minutes of fighting, Raiden continues to slash at Busiris’ body!
“Doesn’t matter how hard you swing your sword at me, my Nanomachines will recover my body!” Says Busiris.
“Not if we get to your heart!” Says Billy.
Both Billy and Sheila shoot Busiris in the chest leaving a massive crater slowly being filled by the nanomachines!
Raiden raises his sword and just in the nic of time stabs Busiris in the heart and slices him in half!
The nanomachines slowly fade away with the building all of the elite’s attempt to escape but are trapped, their fates sealed.
The helicopter appears and opens it’s door. The three leap inside!
“Looks like we finally completed the mission.” Says Sheila.
The next day, the group looks at the sunset.
“We saved America. However, there are those who want to destroy it’s freedom.” Says Billy.
“I know. However we can’t give up. We must keep fighting to protect the innocent.” Says Raiden.
“And we will.” Says Sheila.
And so, the three continue their battle. Fighting for a better tomorrow.
