Lupin The Third and Indiana JonesLupin is in a temple trying to find a treasure. He looks inside of a tomb and finds the Dial of Destiny.
“This has to be it. I bet this will cost a fortune to get.” Says Lupin.
Suddenly someone leaps to the ground it was Zenigata.
“There you are Lupin! This time I’ve finally captured you!” Says Zenigata.
Zenigata grabs the Dial of Destiny but Lupin quickly grabs it back.
The Dial of Destiny begins to activate and takes them to a different point in time!
They look around and realize that they are in Vietnam.
“What kind of treasure is this?!?” Asks Zenigata.
“Must be a time machine! And by the looks of it we’re in the middle of the Vietnam war!” Says Lupin.
Lupin sees a Soldier about to be shot in the head! Lupin quickly runs to the soldier and tackles him! Saving his life!
“That was a close one! C’mon! Let’s get out of here!” Says Lupin.
Lupin grabs the Soldier and they both run to a safer place. Zenigata follows the two.
“Listen, like it or not your stuck with me until we figure out how to get back to our own time.” Says Zenigata.
They run to a house and after few minutes all of the gunfire ceases.
“Looks like that may be it. Not the best point in history to be dropped in.” Says Lupin.
“You could say that again.” Says the Soldier.
“What’s your name son?” Asks Zenigata.
“The name’s Henry, but call me Mutt.”
They see boats taking US soldiers back to America.
“Well, that may be our way out of this place.” Says Lupin.
And so the three go to the boats, little do they know they’re being watched by a Nazi.
Meanwhile, Indiana Jones waits for his son to return. He sees the boats coming to shore and looks around to see Mutt. He spots him leaving the boat with Lupin and Zenigata in tow.
“There you are! I thought…I thought you were killed.” Says Indiana Jones.
“Look, I’m sorry ok. I thought I could go out there and make a difference.” Says Mutt.
“Staying alive is a better way to make a difference!” Says Indiana Jones.
Dr. Jones looks at Lupin and Zenigata.
“So, you must be the two that saved my son.” Says Indiana Jones.
“Well, technically I just pushed him out of the way.” Says Lupin.
“Anyway, we should get going.” Says Zenigata.
“Hold on a minute. You did save my son. So I’d like you two to join me.” Says Indiana Jones.
“Why not? We have all the time in the world.” Says Lupin.
In the Afternoon, the four are having lunch at the Jones residence.
“What kind of work do you do?” Asks Lupin.
“Used to be an in the field Archeologist. Now I’m just a College Professor.” Says Indiana Jones.
“You know I also go places, finding treasure.” Says Lupin.
“You mean take things that don’t belong to you?” Asks Zenigata.
“C’mon Pops don’t let them know that!” Says Lupin.
“Well you two get along well.” Says Mutt.
Suddenly, someone knocks at the door. Dr. Jones opens the door and sees Helena Shaw.
“So, you must be Indiana Jones. I heard about you.” Says Helena.
“Can I help you?” Asks Jones.
“Of course, you have something that I want. The Dial of Destiny.” Says Helena.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Says Dr. Jones.
“Ok, we’ll do this the hard way.” Says Helena.
Helena attempts to punch Dr. Jones he ducks just in time. The other three quickly run to his side.
“I know you have the Dial. If you hand it over then I’ll leave.” Says Helena.
“You mean this?” Asks Lupin as he reveals the Dial.
“Tell us, why do you want it so badly?” Asks Zenigata.
“Quite simple, a client of mine wants it.” Says Helena.
“Sorry, but we need it to get back to our own time.” Says Lupin.
“I see, then I guess you’re going to have to stay here in this time.” Says Helena.
Helena uses a smoke bomb to blind the group. Helena grabs the Dial of Destiny and runs to the window.
“Oh great! That’s our ticket back home!” Says Lupin.
“It’s not over yet. She won’t go far, she’ll probably meet with someone. We’re gonna have to track her down.” Says Dr. Jones.
The next day, the group goes to a town with traders and shops.
“She’s got to be around here somewhere.” Says Mutt.
Lupin has the feeling that they’re being watched.
The group goes inside of a building. They see Helena talking to someone.
“I have the Dial of Destiny.” Says Helena.
“Are you sure that Jones hasn’t followed you?” Asks the Person.
“I think so. He’s a stubborn man after all.” Says Helena.
“Good, his son cheated death but he won’t escape me this time.” Says the person.
“This time? What’s he talking about?” Asks Indiana Jones.
Lupin sneaks his way over to grab the Dial of Destiny.
“Sorry, but this thing isn’t for sale!” Says Lupin as he runs out.
The rest of the group follows him.
“That person, he’s with Jones! Stop him!” Says the person.
The group go to their car and quickly take off.
“Seriously Lupin, you just took that while everyone was looking?” Asks Zenigata.
“They were about to sell it! I had to think fast!” Says Lupin.
They turn around and see cars coming their way.
They drive to another part of the town and continue on foot.
They arrive at a hotel and hide. They see soldiers searching and after a while the search ends.
“That was too easy.” Says Lupin.
Suddenly Helena appears and grabs the Dial!
The person appears with his soldiers
“You play a good game but it’s over Indiana Jones.”
“Who are you?” Asks Dr. Jones.
“My name is Alastor. I was once part of the Nazis. We tried to gain power but you kept getting in our way. So I thought of a plan that would break your heart. Drafting your son into the Vietnam War.”
“I get it now, you guys tried to find some antient tool to conquer the world, but that didn’t go well in revenge you tried to kill his son.” Says Lupin.
“Indeed. Unfortunately, you have gotten in the way. But since you also found the Dial of Destiny, I can change history. The Nazis will win World War 2 and we will Conquer everything.” Says Alastor.
“And you’re ok with this? If he gets that power a lot of people will die.” Says Indiana Jones to Helena.
“Sorry, but the world is already rotten anyway.” Says Helena.
“Indeed. Now I’m afraid you have interfered for the last time.” Says Alastor.
Alastor was about to shoot the group when suddenly Lupin fires at the lights giving them time to leap out of the window and escape.
“They will return eventually. I’ll be ready for them.” Says Alastor.
“Well, I’d love to stay but I’ll be going now. With the Dial.” Says Helena.
“No I think not. You see, you’re not only dangerous but also arrogant. I can’t let you live anymore.” Says Alastor.
Helena tries to escape but Alastor grabs her and slams her to the wall.
“How could you do that to me? I’m a woman.” Says Helena.
“Oh did that hurt? Well maybe you shouldn’t treat your elders like dirt.” Says Alastor.
Alastor points a gun at Helena and shoots her in the arms and legs. Finally strikes her in the abdomen forcing her to fly out of the window falling to her death.
“Now, with that taken care of. Let us rewrite history for the better.” Says Alastor.
Outside of the building the group quickly climbs down. Indiana Jones thinks about what Alastor said.
“I don’t believe it. He tried to kill my son because of me.” Says Indiana Jones.
“Hey, don’t go there. It’s true he tried to kill me but his plan failed.” Says Mutt.
“Indeed. There’s still some time to stop him and give back that dial.” Say Lupin.
“For once I agree with Lupin. We need to teach those Nazis a lesson.” Says Zenigata.
“Well I guess you do have a point. C’mon let’s save history.” Says Indiana Jones.
Alastor goes to a temple with the Dail of Destiny.
“Finally, with this I can change the outcome of World War 2.” Says Alastor.
One of his Subordinates walks towards him.
“Sir! What about Indiana Jones? He might come here to stop you.” Says his Subordinate.
“Then Stall him. We cannot have anymore mistakes.” Says Alastor.
Outside, the group drive their vehicle to the temple. They look ahead and see Nazis with guns.
“Looks like they’re on to us. But that’s not gonna stop us.” Says Lupin.
Indiana Jones places a bomb in the car and uses his whip to grab onto a tree. The all leap out of the car before it explodes upon impact with the Nazi guards.
The group goes inside of the temple and see Alastor himself.
“I’m very impressed you managed to come this far. However, you will not stop me from creating the perfect world for the Nazi Party.” Says Alastor.
“Tell me, what are you going to do with all that power? Even if you created this so-called perfect world, it won’t be enough for you.” Says Zenigata.
“I won’t argue with the likes of you. What you say doesn’t matter.” Says Alastor.
“Face it, the Nazi regime and ideals should’ve died after World War 2. You’re just following an empty cause.” Says Indiana Jones.
“Let’s agree to disagree. I can’t let you live anymore, you cost me so much of my time.” Says Alastor.
Alastor pulls his gun and begins to fire! The group takes cover and begins to return fire.
Lupin shoots the gun out of Alastor’s hand! This give Indiana Jones the opportunity to strike him in the face!
Indiana Jones quickly grabs the Dial of Destiny.
“I believe this doesn’t belong to you.” Says Indiana Jones.
“You won’t stop me! I will conquer Destiny!” Says Alastor.
Alastor grabs his knife and prepares to attack Dr. Jones with it but Mutt and Zenigata get behind Alastor and kick him in the back.
Indiana Jones uses his whip and wraps it around Alastor’s leg yanking it forward forcing him to fall to the ground.
“Curse you and your friends! If it weren’t for those two I would’ve made you suffer.” Says Alastor.
“Attacking me is one thing but going after my family, I won’t stand for that.” Says Indiana Jones.
“I still have one trick up my sleeve. I will destroy you! Even if I have to destroy myself!” Says Alastor.
Alastor presses a button activating several bombs which begin to explode!
The temple begins to crumble.
“Guys! I think we need to get out of here!” Says Lupin.
And with that the group quickly run outside!
They watch the temple crumble down.
“Well, looks like it’s finally over.” Says Lupin.
“Indeed. I guess you need the Dail to get back to your own time.” Says Indiana Jones.
“Of course we do.” Says Zenigata.
Indiana Jones gives the Dail to Lupin and Zenigata.
“Before you go, I just want to say. Thanks. For saving my life.” Says Mutt.
“It wasn’t a problem kid.” Says Lupin.
And so Lupin and Zenigata use the Dail to finally go home.
The next day, Lupin looks at the sky. He looks at the newspaper and sees an old man who is very happy. That man is Indiana Jones.
“Looks like you had a good life Jones. Glad to see that.” Says Lupin.
