Black Clover: The Crystal of KingsAn army marches to a Kingdom while it’s King sends four people to defend.
They are Cocco, Lustro Furia, Lung Xing, and Justicia.
“Everyone, the Kingdom is in danger! We need to get the people out of here!” Says the King.
“But what about you your Highness?” Asks Cocco.
“I must stay. Whatever happens, it cannot fall into the hands of our enemies.” Says the King.
“I am not gonna run away! I will stay here and fight!” Says Justicia.
“There are too many! There will be another day for you to fight. For now, you must go.” Says the King.
And so, the four warriors leave the castle.
Upon making their retreat they hear an explosion!
One person walks. It is Revon.
“Greetings, your Majesty.” Says Revon.
“You are NOT welcome here!” Says the King.
“Now now, that’s no way to treat your new guest. Your, new REPLACEMENT!” Says Revon.
Revon grabs the King and stabs him with his sword!
The King uses his final bits of strength to summon a Crystal.
The Crystal glows brightly.
“You are doomed… Even as we speak my Champion will come to this world and destroy you!” Says the King.
“That is absolute nonsense. There are no, Champions.” Says Revon.
Revon hurls the King to the ground.
Meanwhile in a forest, the crystal continues to glow even brighter until the glow is so overwhelming that it creates a portal.
Asta exits the portal and lands on the ground below.
“Ok, that’s got to be one of the weirdest things ever. Where am I?” Asks Asta.
Asta looks around and sees Monsters terrorizing innocent villagers.
“Give us all of your food and you lives will be spared!” Says one of the monsters.
“Please, that’s all we have! There must be another way!” Says one of the villagers.
“No. Now die!” Says one of the monsters.
Asta charges at the Monsters and raises his anti-magic sword!
“Hey! I don’t know what’s going on but I don’t like it!” Says Asta.
“Lookie here, a human who thinks he’s tough! Let’s teach him a lesson!” Says one of the monsters.
The Monsters charge at Asta but one by one the monsters are defeated!
“Leave! I don’t want you to hurt anymore people!” Says Asta.
“You’re going to regret this!” Says one of the monsters.
He raises a horn and blows into it, letting out a mighty Bellow!
The sound summons a giant Elephant that tries to attack Asta but suddenly, Cocco, Lustro Furia, Lung Xing, and Justicia appear!
“We’ll help you! You can’t defeat this creature on your own!” Says Lustro Furia.
“Thanks for the assist!” Says Asta.
After a few minutes of fighting, the Elephant is left on the ground defeated.
The Villagers come out of hiding, relieved that their village is safe.
“Thank goodness we made it here just in time.” Says Cocco.
“Indeed. Thanks to this young man here, he stalled the creatures long enough for us to get here.” Says Lung Xing.
“Can someone please tell me what’s going on here?” Asks Asta.
“We are in the midst of a great war. The one responsible for this attack is known as Revon. He conquered three other Kingdoms and took their crystals. He won’t stop until all of the Kingdoms of this world are his.” Says Lustro Furia.
“I see, in that case I’ll find him and put a stop to it!” Says Asta.
“I appreciate the optimism. But we need to get to the next Kingdom before he does.” Says Justicia.
Meanwhile, Revon captures a Queen and her brother.
“Please, spare me! I’ll give you riches and women!” Says the Queen.
“No, I have a better idea. If you can kill your brother, I’ll let you live.” Says Revon.
“Sister don’t! Our people will not stand for this!” Says the brother.
“Forgive me. But if I have to choose between you and myself, I’ll have to do what I must to survive.” Says the Queen.
The Queen grabs a rock and slays her brother in cold blood.
“Well done, that was an excellent show. So tell me, how does it feel?” Asks Revon.
“I don’t know. I always thought I was better than him. But now my hands are covered in his blood.” Says the Queen.
“That’s life. One day you believe you’re on top of the world, the next? You hit Rock Bottom. I learned that lesson myself. The hard way.” Says Revon.
One of the monsters comes to Revon and delivers troublesome news.
“Sir, we failed to capture the village we raided. One human we encountered held this strange sword. He defeated us with it!” Says the Monster.
“I see, this must be that champion that that old fool was talking about.” Says Revon.
“I will take my best warriors and defeat him!” Says the Monster.
“I’ll be coming with you. I can tell this, so-called Champion is going to provide a problem.” Says Revon.
“What about the Queen?” Asks the Monster.
“Let the Sirens take her beauty.” Says Revon.
The monster summons Sirens who scream a terrible and shrill howl at the Queen turning her haggered and disheveled, a hollow shell of her former-self.
Elsewhere in an Underground city, Asta trains Lustro Furia.
“You’re a very strong swordsman.” Says Lustro Furia.
“Thanks, so are you.” Says Asta.
The rest of the group appears.
“So, are we going back to the surface?” Asks Asta.
“Yes, Revon’s next place of Attack will be the next Kingdom over.” Says Lung Xing.
Suddenly, Sirens appear and begin to attack the Underground City!
Asta charges at the Sirens!
“Look at what we have here, it’s the one that challenged our Master!” Says one of the Sirens.
“You’re working with Revon! Tell me! Why is he doing this?!?” Asks Asta.
“We’ve no reason to answer to you! All you need to know is that you’re going to die here!!!” Says another Siren.
“You’re not the first person to tell me that!” Says Asta.
The rest of the group appears.
“We have to defeat them!” Says Justicia.
After a few minutes of fighting, the Sirens are left on the ground.
“You may have defeated us, but you won’t reach our master in time! Even as we speak he’s going to take another Kingdom and it’s Crystals!” Says another Siren.
“Don’t count us out yet! I will cast a spell that will get us to the Kingdom in time!” Says Lung Xing.
And so she casts the spell, instantly taking them to the Kingdom.
Outside of the Kingdom, Revon prepares his Army to invade.
“This is glorious! Soon all of the Kingdoms of this world will be yours! You should be proud.” Says one of his minions.
“Indeed. However we cannot slack off, there are always those who would stand in my way. And I think, I’ve found a few.” Says Revon.
He looks ahead and sees the group. He dismounts his horse and charges on foot. He smashes the window in front of him and soldiers attempt to stop him. Revon smashes them away with incredible strength!
He grabs one soldier by the leg.
“Tell me, do you fear death?” Asks Revon.
Revon raises his sword and readies to strike the soldier but suddenly Asta leaps out and blocks the sword with his own.
Revon releases the soldier.
“At last we finally meet!” Says Revon.
“Are you the one responsible for all this?” Asks Asta.
“And what if I am?” Asks Revon.
“Do you have any idea how many people you’ve harmed?” Asks Asta.
“They’re all going to die one day. That’s one of life’s guarantees.” Says Revon.
The rest of the group surrounds Revon.
“Well, if it isn’t the rest of the filth! Tell me, how does it feel? Knowing you couldn’t save your precious King?” Asks Revon.
“You are a true monster, in every sense of the definition. You know that?” Asks Cocco.
“None of that matters. The weak shall all die! That is the law of nature!” Says Revon.
“NO! This is where your war on these Kingdoms ends!” Says Asta.
After a few minutes of fighting, the group continues their attack on Revon until a demon-like Crow holds the Crystal and hurls it to Revon.
“Thank you. Now, everything in this world will burn! Then a new empire, MY new empire! Shall rise from it’s ashes!” Says Revon.
He gathers all of his Crystals and creates an energy beam with the capacity to destroy all of the Kingdoms!
Asta charges at Revon and uses his Anti-Magic sword to destroy the beam!
“That was close! That beam could’ve destroyed us in seconds!” Says Lung Xing.
“FOOLS! You’ve only slowed me down!” Says Revon.
Revon opens a portal to his Kingdom and leaps through it.
“NO! You’re not going to get away!” Says Asta.
Asta runs after Revon and leaps through the portal as well!
The portal takes Asta to a graveyard.
He looks around and sees Revon’s castle.
Asta decides that he must enter and once inside he is instantly met with Revon, sitting on his throne.
“I’m impressed. Few have entered my Kingdom.” Says Revon.
“I won’t stop until I have defeated you!” Says Asta.
“You know, you remind me of myself. I was strong and destined to become King. But one day, my closest friends and family betrayed me. They said I was too dangerous and locked me in a dungeon. I was starved, and shackled. But I did not relent. I promised myself that I would survive. So that I could have my revenge. And that is what I did.” Says Revon.
“You… murdered them?” Asks Asta.
“THAT’S RIGHT! And I see the same potential in you! One day your closest friends shall betray you! But you are like me. A survivor!” Says Revon.
“NO! We are NOTHING alike! And my friends won’t betray me!” Says Asta.
“Do not be so sure of that child. This is the REAL WORLD. And in the real world, people hate those who have power and will do anything to get rid of them.” Says Revon.
Revon rises from his throne and walks gallantly towards Asta.
“Come boy. Let us see who’s the strongest in this Throne Room!” Says Revon.
After a few minutes of fighting, Their swords continue to clash ferociously.
“You are strong! I’ll give you that much! But this will be your final battle!” Says Revon.
Revon uses all of his crystals to energize his sword!
Asta summons all of his Anti-Magic to charge at Revon!
And with one precise and quick swipe, Revon’s body is split in two at the waist!
“Well done child, you have defeated me… But mark my words boy…the weak will always fear the strong…. One day… You will learn this for yourself…” Says Revon.
Revon closes his eyes and expires.
All of the crystals begin to glow and with a sudden blast of energy return Asta to the rest of the group.
“Is… is it finally over?” Asks Cocco.
“Yes. This war is finally over.” Says Asta.
All the people cheer for Asta!
The Crystals begin to glow again and open a portal to Asta’s world, sensing that our hero must return home.
“Well, looks like my job here is done.” Says Asta.
“Thank you. We hope that you have a safe return.” Says Justicia.
“Don’t worry, I’m sure I will.” Says Asta.
And with that, Asta leaps through the portal and returns home.
